If you incur expenses or earn other revenue for your business and you'd like to keep track of them in TutorBird's "Revenue & Other Expenses" section, you can take a picture of your receipt to make it easy to record that transaction. TutorBird's new receipt scanner can capture Payee, amount, and date. It's not perfect, but it's learning! It will save the photo as an attachment on the entry.


Here's what to do:

  1. Navigate to "Revenue & Other Expenses" from the main menu.
  2. Click "Add" and choose one of the camera options to add an Expense or Other Revenue.
  3. If you're using a mobile device, you can use your camera or choose from your existing files.
  4. Snap a picture of your receipt and stand by. MSB will try to read the Payee, amount, and date. Make any corrections and click "Save."

You should see the new entry, with an added purple button that will show you the attachment.
